What does Studio Dome DIRECT do for my film?
We handle full or partial distribution of your film, worldwide or North America only. That includes downstream channels such as Tubi and Pluto TV, VOD stores, TV licensing and international sales to buyers worldwide.
What kinds of content do you accept?
Features and episodic series in any genre, horror included.
Can I choose only certain platforms, like Tubi or Pluto TV?
Yes. You decide which territories, rights and platforms you grant us, and anything you leave out stays with you. Your film has the best chance of being selected when we can release it widely, across Tubi, Pluto TV, partner channels, VOD stores and buyers worldwide. If you limit it to one or two platforms, we are much less likely to select it. A wide release also puts your film in front of more viewers.

Do I keep ownership of my film?
Yes. You grant us exclusive sales and distribution rights for the territories, rights and platforms you choose, for a set term. You keep ownership of the film, and anything you exclude stays with you.
How and when do I get paid?
You receive 80% of gross receipts. Our fee is 20%, and it is waived entirely on our owned and operated platforms and channels, including BloodStream. We deduct no expenses unless you approve them in writing. We pay quarterly, within 45 days of the end of each calendar quarter, starting with the quarter your film is released. We pay by check or ACH to the payee details you supply. If you are owed less than $100 at the end of a quarter, we may hold it until the next payment. You get real-time reporting throughout.
How long does the review take?
We are selective, and a decision usually takes two to three weeks. You will hear back by email.
What do I need to deliver?
A high-quality video file (MP4 or MOV, 16:9, at least 12 Mbps at 1080p), English closed captions (SRT or VTT), key art in 2:3 and 16:9 ratios, and metadata such as synopsis, year, cast and crew, runtime, genre and rating. You upload the film and artwork as part of the submission, and we can prefill most metadata from IMDb.
How long does the agreement last?
Three years from release, then it renews yearly until either side gives 120 days' notice. We can make exceptions in special circumstances.
Will my film be used in promotion?
Yes. We may use short clips of your film, edited or shown vertically for social media and mobile, and feature your title, artwork and logo in curated features, newsletters and festival showcases. Promotional use is royalty-free and limited to advertising your film or the service.
